Stony Ridge Uncommon Kitchen

We started Uncommon Kitchen in July of 2006, after operating the Stony Ridge Cafe in Tahoma for eleven years before that. That is why you might notice in some places we are seen as Stony Ridge Uncommon Kitchen. We wanted any of our former guests at Stony Ridge Cafe to be able to find us. The Stony Ridge Cafe started as a breakfast restaurant and morphed into a sometime dinner establishment, as well.

We had many loyal customers who supported us over those years and when the time came to move to Tahoe City, some of those original recipes came along, too. We no longer make eggs benedict, but now we offer lots of other interesting items.
